Did you ever expect that COVID-19 would cause fashion trends to emerge? Well, believe it or not, so much time staying at home has led to unique post-pandemic trends. Here are just a few.
1. Loungewear
So much time staying in has caused loungewear to become commonplace among many. Sweats, sweatshorts, and hoodies have turned into the new norm. It’s a comfortable look but also effortlessly cool.

2. Face Masks
With the onset of the pandemic, face masks became a necessity. However, for many, they became a stylish complement to any outfit. People not only look for comfort in their masks, but they also care about the style of it. There are lots of face masks that have cool patterns and fabrics. Even disposable ones come in bright colors to coordinate with a cute outfit.

3. Activewear
Due to gyms closing and in-person exercise classes ceasing, many people resorted to at-home workouts and virtual classes, causing many to buy more activewear- not to mention it’s also comfortable to lounge around in. Some of my personal favorite brands include Alo Yoga, Lululemon, and Carbon 38.

4. Pajamas
Because of the pandemic, pajamas are not only used purely for sleep anymore. They are comfortable and a great option whether you’re just lounging around or working from home- at least top-down. They are also sold in really cute sets at Victoria’s Secret or Eberjey.

5. Tie-dye Patterns
Tie-dye became everyone’s favorite quarantine activity, and as a result, turned into a fashion trend. Not only did tie-dye prints become super popular, but tie-dye kits also were in higher demand as a stay-at-home activity. It is a colorful and fun fashion statement that can elevate any outfit to the next level.

These are just a couple of fashion trends that emerged from the global pandemic. Even though most of them were a result of COVID-19, I am confident that these trends are here to stay.
