Walking into my Exams Like

Here’s a new twist to your classic sweatpants and t-shirt look.

Midterm season is here, and us over-achievers at Penn take that pretty seriously. It’s tough staying up late studying for your exams, but that doesn’t mean you have to sport your shabby high school hoodie, oversized sweatpants, and to top it all off, a Penn baseball cap over a mop of unwashed hair. Want to be a little more presentable, without having to try too hard? The WALK has you covered. Here are some comfortable yet fashionable looks to try when exam week rolls around. After all, you always deserve to look great.

1. Side Stripe Track Pants

A lot of brands are embracing this look. Side stripes are now on trousers, jeans, leggings, track pants, and sweats.

Check out this cool pair. The houndstooth pattern gives it a distinct ’80s look, contrasted with the white and gray stripes running down the side. We’re sold.

When it comes to pant legs, the bigger the better. These amazing wide-leg pants by Elizabeth and James can be dressed up or down. Walk straight out of class to the streets of Center City, and you’ll fit right in.

If we’re talking latest trends, camo is an absolute must. Style these joggers with a solid-colored tank or hoodie and you’ve got yourself a comfortable yet edgy look.

2. Pajama-style Shirts

Who says PJs are just for sleeping in? At The WALK, we beg to disagree. These flowy, effortless tops are not only comfy to lounge in, but also super chic.

This polka-dotted top is a cuteness overload. Style it with your favorite stretchy jeans and some black booties.

3. Oversized Cardigans

Cardigans are a great way to keep warm and fashionable in this finicky weather. They’re also great for studying indoors in an air-conditioned room.

Animal prints: again, the ’80s are back—can’t you tell what’s trending by now? This one’s quite the show stopper.

Large buttons and thick weaves are all the rage right now. This cream colored sweater would be a staple in anyone’s closet.

Zara’s really stepping it up with their cardigan game. Neon stripes and large pockets—what’s not to love?
