With or without trying, you’ve probably developed a fine-tuned skincare routine by now. It’s basically whatever you do every morning and evening to take care of your skin. Some routines are simple, others involve multiple steps, serums, sprays and a rotating cast of facial treatments. For this column, I conduct interviews with Penn students to share all the unique routines and tips you guys have to offer. Hopefully you can find advice that fits your skin type and preference along the journey. Happy reading!

Favorite product and why?
Whoo Emulsions; It is not intrusive to your skin condition. The Emulsions product line is designed based on age group, which makes it easier to find the best fit for you.
If you were on a desert island and could only bring one skincare product with you, what would you bring?
Whoo Radiant White Emulsion, because it is very thick and nourishing compared to other moisturizers.
Which product would you recommend for your skin type?
Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser for Sensitive Skin. I have used it for years and stayed with it. It is very gentle for all skin types, and does not wash off the protective layer from your skin. Its cleansing effect may not be strong enough for others, but you can always use it with a scrub or brush.
Is there one product you want to try?
Yes, Kiehl’s Calendula Herbal Extract Alcohol-Free Toner.
What is your skincare philosophy?
I think comfort is the most important. What feels the best is the best. I don’t like the really effective ones that in contrast make your skin feels very uncomfortable, unnatural or itchy. I recently found that financial investment into good product is also a must. You can’t buy good skin with really cheap products!
