Avocados
Looks like our hair is in good hands with this super food. Avocados contain antioxidants, fiber, potassium, magnesium, and folate which are all essential nutrients linked to hair health. The fatty acids in these bad boys nourishes hair follicles and creates a healthy environment for hair to grow. Looks like I am adding avocado toast to my daily routine… I think I’ll survive.
Carrots
Vitamin A is required for the growth of every individual cell in our bodies, and our hair is the fastest growing tissue, so it is only reasonable to pack on the vitamin A if you want to amp up your hair growth. Lucky for you, carrots are just the solution. The vitamin A found in carrots will help your scalp produce natural oils in order to keep your roots healthy.
Greek Yogurt
Greek yogurt is a great source of vitamin B5. B5 is known to increase blood flow to the scalp, thus aiding hair growth and health. It is no wonder all those Greek gods had an luscious head of hair.
Cinnamon
This seasonal garnish is for more than just your fall latte. Use some cinnamon to spice up your hair. Cinnamon improves blood flow around the body and promotes healthy hair follicles. In addition to just hair, cinnamon has other health benefits towards glowing skin and strong nails. Sprinkle some on your daily latte, and you’ll be one step closer to achieving Kate Middleton level glossy locks.
