This ’70s classic that conjures up memories of bell bottoms and Woodstock is coming back, and in a big way. This style can be dressed up or down, even verging on athleisure. With so many different style options, many brands and designers are embracing this trend. What used to be a hippy staple is now getting a modern twist with clean fabrics and sophisticated colors.
Another reason we love the bell sleeve is because it is flattering on so many body types. The volume of the fabric is not overpowering, and it creates a feminine and flattering silhouette.
One of our favorite ways to wear this trend is a bell sleeved blouse with denim. This pairing stays true to the ’70s staples, but is updated with new silhouettes and fabrics. Some blouses have buttons and create a more structured and polished look, while others are silk, which softens the look and gives off more romantic vibes.
