This article is part of The Volume Issue, The WALK’s Fall 2017 theme, which seeks to explore every aspect of the concept of “volume,” one of which is the return of ~voluminous~ silhouettes.

Another reason we love the bell sleeve is because it is flattering on so many body types. The volume of the fabric is not overpowering, and it creates a feminine and flattering silhouette.
One of our favorite ways to wear this trend is a bell sleeved blouse with denim. This pairing stays true to the ’70s staples, but is updated with new silhouettes and fabrics. Some blouses have buttons and create a more structured and polished look, while others are silk, which softens the look and gives off more romantic vibes.
Another great way to wear this trend is in a dress or romper. There are so many different styles and options when it comes to bell sleeved dresses: one shoulder, body con, preppy, boho–you name it and there is a bell sleeved dress in your perfect style. The versatility of the bell sleeve allows this trend to be wearable because of the multitude of looks that can be created.
