1. 7 for All Mankind Chambray Dress ($199) – I love summer dresses and I love denim. Chambray dresses are a great way to get a cool denim look, while still being lightweight for the summer months.
2. Le Spec Sunglasses (£75) – I think that retro style sunglasses are SO in right now. These sunglasses are a great way to break away from the usual sunglass styles (i.e. aviators, wayfarers) but still rock a classic style. Jackie O would be proud.
3. Joie Sandals ($158) – These sandals are the perfect staple for summer because they literally can go with any outfit. You can dress them up with a cute sundress (maybe the Free People one below) or even rock them with shorts and a t-shirt; the options are limitless.
4. Free People Dress ($180) – This dress hits every style for summer: light, airy fabric, embroidery, and a shift silhouette. This dress can travel with you wherever you are going. From working in New York to hitting the beach, it is extremely versatile.
5. JADEtribe Tote ($143) – There is no other time of the year other than the few, short summer months where it is acceptable to carry a straw bag. Straw bags are great because even when you have to be stuck in the office, you can still give off beachy vibes. I love this one because of the pops of color given by the tassels.
6. Miansai Bracelete ($6,700) – Because most of the summer you are wearing short sleeves, it’s a great time to wear bracelets because they won’t be covered by anything. I love the industrial feel of this bracelet, but the metals make it more girly and softens the look.
7. Parker shorts ($198) – Cotton shorts are summer’s answer to joggers in the cooler months; they are super comfy and it feels like you are wearing pajamas, but you still look effortlessly cool. I love the color and print of these shorts. They would look amazing with a basic white tee, but add some funky necklaces to take the look to the next level.
8. Hipanema Bracelets ($60) – I love this collection of bracelets because it reminds me of an updated version of the friendship bracelets that my friends and I used to make at summer camp. They are still the same printed, colorful bracelet but more sophisticated and stylish.
9. Vanessa Mooney Earrings ($45)- OBSESSED. In case you can’t tell from the multitude of tassel items on here, I love tassels for summer. There is something about them that scream fun and warm weather and outdoor parties. I love these earrings for a few reasons: they are keeping with the trend of statement earrings, they are a great color, and they are tassels. Honestly, what isn’t there to love?
10. Minimale Animale Swimsuit ($220) – I truly believe that the classic bikini is taking a backseat to the one piece this summer. Everyone is ditching their two piece swimsuits for the amazing one pieces that so many designers are offering this summer season. I really like this one because it has a great flattering neckline as well as a super interesting back that is sexy, without being too revealing.
