We saw gingham make a comeback on the runways this season, juxtaposed with edgy accessories. Designers were not afraid to style the classic print from head to toe and in other colors besides your typical black and white. For a look straight from the runway, pair gingham with smudged black eyeliner or a some rosy blush.

To avoid being mistaken for a middle school prepster, choose a gingham top that incorporates a high fashion detail like a ruffle or an off-the-shoulder style.
