The beautiful Georgina Chapman, designer of the line Marchesa with partner Keren Craig, has created a capsule collection to be sold at a JCPenney near you. The line, named Pearl after the middle name of her daughter, will be geared towards a younger audience than the usual Marchesa apparel. Marchesa creates gowns for women who want to look and feel like princesses, and who have the budget to buy expensive ball gowns. The dresses are very feminine and always incorporate some sort of frill, sparkle, organza, or ruffle. In her new collection, Chapman takes this same aesthetic, but makes it more accessible and wearable for a different sort of client. The clothing will range from cocktail dresses to red carpet worthy gowns (maybe for that upcoming summer wedding you have to go to?), all ranging in price from $50 to $250 dollars.
