Don’t put your whites away just yet! Yes, we’ve heard about the “no white after Labor Day” rule, but who says you can’t break it? Fashion is about pushing boundaries and taking risks (who knew pajamas could be so stylish?). With a few simple ways to wear white past Labor Day, you’ll be rocking this light wash all throughout the cooler months. Best of all, the essentials you need are already in your closet — including those beloved white jeans you lived in last month.
1. Add statement pieces that contrast with white. For example, wear a bold sweater with white jeans, and all eyes will be drawn to your top. Or attempt the reverse and wear a white top with standout pants in wintery colors. An easy way to incorporate white is by mixing black and white for a classic look that is sure to last all year round.

2) Tone it down with neutrals. Incorporate brown, cream, and gold to soften bright whites. Earth tones are a must in autumn and are an easy way to “neutralize” your look. Go for metallics in these colors to bring on a glitzy, wintery feel.

3) Incorporate white through accessorizing. Add small white accessories to easily bring white into your changing wardrobe. Tuck in your top and wear your belt at the slimmest part of your waist to give the outfit a sleek look. Throwing in hints of white can help you mix up your wardrobe and create new looks.
