L’Oreal Paris, creator of one of the most popular lines of hair dye products and a top competitor in the field, recently launched a free iPhone app that serves as a consultant in helping you pick your new hair color and taking the guesswork out of the process. What better “person” to trust than a brand that has offered over 100 years of hair color expertise?
App users must answer a series of questions (such as whether the color would be permanent or non-permanent), much like that a professional would ask at a salon. L’Oreal then caters to your needs by picking products to try. Before making a purchase, users can also check out what other consumers think through ratings and reviews provided on the app. Given the vast expansion of L’Oreal’s color line over the years, consumers will need all the help they can get in determining which products to use! The app itself will make suggestions from the five L’Oreal Paris hair color brands: Superior Preference, Excellence Creme, Feria, Healthy Look Creme Gloss Color, and Sublime Mousse by Healthy Look.
