I rarely find a shoe that is brilliantly comfortable, stylish, and relatively inexpensive. When I first saw these Charles Philip Shanghai shoes last winter break at Intermix in Bal Harbour, I fell in love. Even though my dad called them “prison shoes” (come on, blue stripes means sailor! Even Rihanna likes them), I still continued to wear them and was not deterred.
Then, during my last trip to Montreal I saw them once again, in Holt Renfrew, Montreal’s claim to fame for fashion. I promise you, these will become huge (aka you’ll soon see them everywhere). Remember those Tory Burch flats that every girl owned? I called that, about a year early. And the Van Cleef & Arpels Sweet Alhambra necklace and bracelet trend that is still going on? Got mine in 2007, right before Eva Longoria gave them to her bridesmaids. I just want you to believe me! (Plus Colette, Paris’ most notable concept store sells them…)
Buy Here for $98-$150 (or at Saks, Intermix, the list goes on…)
Similar to Del Toro, Stubbs and Wootton, and French Sole.
