Pure Barre: Fresh, New Workout

Those who are looking for a workout that focuses on toning muscles without lifting heavy weights are in for a treat.

Having just opened a spacious studio in Rittenhouse Square, owner Noelle Zane describes the workout as working “each muscle group to fatigue and then stretching it out to create that long lean dancer-like physique.” Featured in Health, Fitness Magazine, and AllurePure Barre aims to combine the movements of ballet, pilates, and yoga into a powerful hour that targets the areas women struggle with: arms, abs, thighs, and hips. Light weights are also included for parts of the class. Better yet, the entire routine is set to upbeat music to get your hearts pumping. Many people see results in less than three weeks! Even those who work out constantly described the class as challenging.

Working out with minimal movements and sweating enough to just glisten? Sign me up! Classes last 55 minutes and cost $23 per class. There are also $100 monthly specials of unlimited classes. You can find other packages here. If that’s not convincing enough, students receive a %20 discount. Next time you begin to find your usual Pottruck routine a chore, take a short run to Rittenhouse Square and try Pure Barre.
