Beginning in November, major fashion retailer, Forever 21, will launch a new charity line with proceeds going towards the national organization, Big Brothers Big Sisters. If you’re not familiar with Big Brothers Big Sisters, you should be! It’s the nation’s largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network with a mission to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.
Says President and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters America, Karen J. Mathis, “We are grateful for Forever 21’s support and leadership in showing that there are many ways to start something for children to put them on the road to success. Proceeds from each t-shirt sold will help Big Brothers Big Sisters provide the safe, strong, successful, long-term mentor matching and support services that produce positive outcomes that are unique to our programs.”
Forever’s line will feature five different shirts for men and women that will range in price from $10-18. With bold graphics and wording such as “Go Big,” “You And Me” and “Start Something,” the t-shirts are sure to please all the fashionistas on your shopping list this holiday with the added bonus of contributing to Big Brothers Big Sisters. So get out there (or go online) and make sure to get one of these tees for the holiday season, as a gift to a friend, sibling, or even yourself (after finals I’m sure we’ll need to reward ourselves)!
