Farewell to the days when the only viable snack options were greasy potato chips or a mediocre medley of celery and carrot sticks! Popchips, which have been becoming increasingly popular in supermarkets and health-food stores across the nation, have deservingly earned the position as the perfect potato chip in my book. Just as promised, there are no preservatives, artificial flavors, cholesterol, saturated fat, trans fat, and no gluten ingredients. Best of all, the bag is only 100 calories (about 17 chips!)
The accolades I could award to this “junk food turned-health-conscious” could just go on and on. Not only are they a personal fav of the venerable celebrity trainer Jillian Michaels, but you can actually read every ingredient on the back of the bag without having to whip out a Chem encyclopedia to understand what in the world you are about to ingest. Just beware of their addictive qualities; after all, they’re still potato chips, bestowed with the ability to inflate you’re waistline quicker than you’d think if not consumed with discretion!
