Exploring the Blogosphere

As a fashion addict, there are so many websites that I read on a regular basis. In the ever-changing world of fashion, blogs provide everything from a way to keep up with the latest trends and designer looks to fashion inspiration from around the world. To be fair, there are thousands of top-notch fashion blogs out there, and to list them all would take me decades. That said, I’ve decided to share the three that I read most frequently right now:

1. Cheetah is the New Black

Alicia’s blog is a wonderful mix of outfits, inspiration, collages, photography, food and fashion. Based in San Francisco, Alicia has a fun and laid back sense of style – just like San Francisco itself. Her blog is full of her adventures, outfits and life. I love reading about what she’s doing, and equally importantly, what’s she’s wearing.

2. Cupcakes and Cashmere

If you approach Emily’s website looking for another run-of-the-mill fashion blog, you will be disappointed. Cupcakes and Cashmere is so much more than a fashion blog – it’s a true lifestyle destination, full of inspiration, photography, recipes, travel guides, how to tutorials, and, of course, outfits. Emily flawlessly blends her loves of fashion, food, and home decor into a digital confection that inspires.

Emily is also great inspiration for those of you looking to go into fashion – she has had a successful career in the industry, and her blog gives readers a peek inside her world. And if that wasn’t enough, she’s even writing a book!

3. The Sartorialist

An oldie, but a goodie. What would a list of fashion blogs be without The Sartorialist? Perhaps the most well-known fashion blog out there, Scott Schuman’s website features street-style photos of the best-dressed people from around the globe. There’s not much more to say than that – if you haven’t seen The Sartorialist yet, you don’t know what you’re missing.
