What’s the best part of being one of the most statuesque people at Penn?
It’s nice being ridiculously good looking.
Worst?
Gasoline fights.
How glamorous is the life of a “Reliquary” model?
Like Adam said, other than sipping champagne in hot tubs with ridiculously good looking models I like to spend my time helping people who can’t read good.
Are there any backstage secrets you’re willing to dish?
I’ve seen some boobs.
How do you calm your nerves before you strut down the runway?
I like to pick a place on the wall and stare at it. This usually works.
If you could strut your stuff to any music you wanted, what would be on the playlist?
Phil Collins. I’ve been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. It was on Duke where Phil Collins’ presence became more apparent. I think Invisible Touch was the group’s undisputed masterpiece. It’s an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums. Listen to the brilliant ensemble playing of Banks, Collins and Rutherford. You can practically hear every nuance of every instrument. In terms of lyrical craftsmanship, the sheer songwriting, this album hits a new peak of professionalism. In Too Deep is the most moving pop song of the 1980s, about monogamy and commitment. The song is extremely uplifting. Their lyrics are as positive and affirmative as anything I’ve heard in rock. But I also think Phil Collin’s works best within the confines of the group, than as a solo artist, and I stress the word artist. Sussudio, a great, great song, a personal favorite.
How do you maintain that top-model physique?
Behind every great model is a great training device. I use the shake weight.
What is your favorite food?
Spaghetti and meatballs.
Do you have a post-show indulgence?
Enjoying time with my friends and family who came to support me.
Do you have any guilty pleasures?
I enjoy hitting people. That’s why I play rugby.
Describe your perfect date.
Moonlight walk on the beach.
What is the way to your heart?
Through amazing food and conversation.
Are you a fashionista or just a pretty face?
I’m just pretty.
Are you involved in any clubs or associations at Penn?
Penn Rugby and Baseball. I work at Cream & Sugar and volunteer with Penn weekend service. I also did Alternative Spring Break. Shout out to all my ASB peeps.
Do you have any athletic prowess?
Yes, I used to play Penn baseball where I was number 1 in all the ladies hearts.
