Hometown: New York, NY
Do you have any previous modeling experience?
I signed with Wilhelmina Teens in high school and did some print work.
How glamorous is the life of a “Reliquary” model?
I don’t think “glamorous” is the word I would use. Backstage at the show, we had professional hair and makeup people making us beautiful, but throughout it all the models kept being silly and making jokes. They’re really great people who never lose their senses of humor or take themselves too seriously.
Are there any backstage secrets you’re willing to dish?
One model, Chloe, brought in a strawberry cake with vanilla frosting, and by the end of the day we consumed the entire thing. So much for being healthy.
How do you calm your nerves before you strut down the runway?
Gnocchi with basil pesto. Or any kind of pastry.
Do you have any guilty pleasures? Chocolate. Lazy movie nights. Lattes. They’ve become such habit for me that I can’t even feel guilty anymore – they’re just “everyday pleasures.”
What is the way to your heart?
Be able to hold a good conversation! Being funny and cute is all well and good, but if we can sit and talk for two hours and make it feel like 20 minutes, I’m yours.
Are you involved in any clubs or associations at Penn?
I’m Secretary for Penn Singers Light Opera Company, and I just starred as Aline in Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Sorcerer. I also dance with West Philly Swingers.
