When I first walked through the door of Sugarcube, I was struck by the fascinating mix of trendy party clothes, the one-of-a-kind vintage pieces, and the eclectic and interesting array of shoes. There were red high heels with gold coils, multi-colored animal skin loafers, blue suede knee high boots with fringe on the side. Not to mention the shelves of charming vintage handbags and clutches, perfect to complete an ensemble for a special occasion. In addition to their vintage collection, Sugarcube carries lines like A.P.C. and Steven Alan. They are also the only store in town that sells the Pendleton wool blankets. Although most of the items are a little too eccentric to wear on an everyday basis, this store is just right for finding unique, cool gifts for your friends and boyfriend. They’re also known to be a friend of Penn and The WALK, having supplied clothes for numerous fashion shows and shoots. Even if you are not shopping for anything in particular, just pop in with some friends for a fun afternoon of dress-up!
